The note would have been a solid uncirculated except for the few bumps to the bottom edge and to a lesser degree to the top edge, which are from handling as opposed to circulation and hence our about uncirculated grade. The note is clean, fresh with vivid colors. The corners are intact, fully squared with no appreciable rounding or creasing. The note has no splits and its edges are intact.     Description:
    A good about uncirculated or much better banknote from France. This is the 1989 one hundred francs or Cent Francs. The banknote is brown gray in color with the image of Eugene Delacroix, the famous French painter, in shades of brown to the left of center on the front. The front also depicts Marianne with her naked breasts holding the French flag and leading the people of France in revolution. This is from one of Delacroix' most famous paintings titled "Liberty Guiding the People." The back of the note is brown in color and shows Delacroix holding a quill in his right hand. This particular note has the serial number 583611 and is series Y.155. The note also has the number 3873583611 in the top center of the front. It is dated 1989 and has three signatures on the front, Ferman, Dentaud, and Charriau. The banknote has a water mark depicting the head of Eugene Delacroix again in the white area to the left on the front. Please carefully review the scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description.
